Top 5 Places to Eat in Winter in Atlanta

Del Bar
Neighborhood: Inman Park
Address: 870 Inman Vlg Pkwy NE Suite 1, Atlanta, GA 30307
What Makes this Place Winter-Worthy: Del Bar was a welcome addition to Inman Park, one that transformed a corner into a home for good vibes, great food, and an atmosphere ready to transport you. If you pine for summer in the midst of winter, Del Bar is for you.
What to Order: Get ready to try everything. We recommend dining family-style and ordering the hummus with lamb and za’atar, chicken kofta, and the sabzi polo. Be ready to imbibe, too! The cocktail list is exquisite.
Supremo
Neighborhood: Grant Park
Address: 701 B Memorial Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30316
What Makes this Place Winter-Worthy: With afternoons gifting us some sun, we recommend soaking in outdoor time as much as possible in the midst of an Atlanta winter. And, Supremo is ideal for that. If you’re on the search for a casual spot, stick with Supremo. Ordering takes place through their walk-up window, with no-frills standing room available outdoors. The food is outrageously delicious each and every time, so buckle up because you’re about to find your new favorite spot in town.
What to Order: We’re partial to the al pastor and barbacoa tacos. Top them off with choriqueso, churros, and agua fresca.
Serena Pastificio
Neighborhood: Midtown
Address: 1197 Peachtree St NE Suite 140, Atlanta, GA 30361
What Makes this Place Winter-Worthy: Serena Pastifico feels like a coastal Italian escape from the doldrums of winter. It’s a fairly new spot in town, one that landed with a splash. It’s located in Colony Square, right near the High Museum of Art. Planning a winter date night? Take a walk around the High and make your way over to Serena Pastifico for a full plate of pasta and a glass (or glasses) of wine.
What to Order: Like Del Bar, we highly recommend sharing plates here, too. Take a few bites and pass it down because the pasta is too good to try just one! Be sure to grab the polpettine and fondutelli al tartufo for that black truffle goodness.
Venkman’s
Address: 740 Ralph McGill Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30312
What Makes this Place Winter-Worthy: A classic Atlanta spot and must-visit if you’re looking for live music, Venkman’s is nestled in a quiet strip of the Old Fourth Ward, just under the BeltLine. With events like neighborhood jazz night, Robyn dance parties, 90s nights, and more, Venkman’s is an absolute blast.
What to Order: Following their reopening, they’ve switched up their menus to tacos! Treat yourself to sheet pan nachos, Nick’s guacamole, and a variety of your favorite tacos (we’re partial to barbacoa).
Little Bear
Neighborhood: Summerhill
Address: 71 Georgia Ave SE Unit A, Atlanta, GA 30312
What Makes this Place Winter-Worthy: In its fairly short existence, Little Bear has already proven itself a mainstay here in Atlanta. With a frequently changing menu, spectacular small dishes, and a killer prix fixe, Little Bear is an impressive feat. Heavy on the veg and flavor, the team churns out top-notch dishes that are sure to be crowd-pleasers. Make it a night and indulge in their cocktail menu, and please treat yourself to dessert.
What to Order: If you’re up for a mix, grab the dealer’s choice! A four-course meal has never tasted so good.
