Best Coffee Shops in Atlanta

Chrome Yellow

Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward

Address: 501 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA, 30312

What Makes this Place Special: The menu at Chrome Yellow is a crowd-pleaser. With milky beverages, a variety of tea, seasonal surprises, and both sweet and savory snacks, this pleasant spot right on Edgewood Ave functions as a great coffee shop to do work in when you need a change of scenery. The neutral palette inside creates a calming effect, and outside you’ll find tables for those times when you crave fresh air and sun. Plus, it boasts a small shop with thoughtfully-crafted goods. Chrome Yellow is a lovely cafe to stay for a while.

What to Order: If you’re looking for a latte, the Vanilla Bourbon Latte is a must. It’s indulgent without being too sweet, a truly delicate balance.

Con Leche

Neighborhood: Reynoldstown

Address: 181 Flat Shoals Ave SE Unit 1, Atlanta, GA 30316

What Makes this Place Special: Con Leche is a real gem, tucked away in the always delightful, Reynoldstown neighborhood. Accessible by bike, car, and foot (just a few blocks from the BeltLine), Patrons come to the charming Con Leche for its stellar coffee, top-notch toast, and daily deliveries from Casa Cardoza (truly some of the tastiest empanadas). Con Leche’s got a handful of seats outdoors, so roll on up and plan to spend some time soaking in the sun, especially in sweater weather.

What to Order: Grab one of their seasonal lattes and a bean and cheese empanada (trust us!). It’s so, so good.

East Pole Coffee Co.

Neighborhood: Poncey-Highland and Lower Buckhead

Address: 255 Ottley Dr NE #105, Atlanta, GA 30324 and 676 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306

What Makes this Place Special: East Pole brews some real stand-out coffee here in Atlanta. And, now with their new location in Poncey-Highland, they’ll also be kickstarting a wine program. Coffee afternoons into wine evenings? Say no more.

What to Order: East Pole’s seasonal drinks are super creative, ask what they’ve got on hand when you stop in!

The Little Tart Bakeshop

Neighborhood: Grant Park, Summerhill, and Inman Park

Address: 437 Memorial Drive SE, Atlanta, GA 30312

What Makes this Place Special: The Little Tart Bakeshop, affectionately known as Little Tart, is an Atlanta staple (and one of our absolute favorites). In the morning, swing by for baked goods that will make you swoon. In the afternoon, pivot to a glass of sparkling chardonnay and a side of marinated olives and savory sables. Their Grant Park and Summerhill locations are cozy and warm, and ideal for coworking, or swinging by with friends.

What to Order: Little Tart’s almond croissant is a classic. It’s always delightful, delicious, and flaky to utter perfection.

Bread and Butterfly

Neighborhood: Inman Park

Address: 290 Elizabeth St NE F, Atlanta, GA 30307

What Makes this Place Special: Bread and Butterfly is one of the most beautiful cafés in Atlanta. At this quaint, well-designed bistro, you’ll find a robust food menu of entrées and shareable snacks in one of the most divinely decorated spaces in town.

What to Order: The quiche and greens are a must if you stop in for breakfast, a delightful plate  dished up for pure enjoyment.
