The Best Way to Break into the Real Estate Industry
As an employer, AptAmigo prioritizes its goal to create a better way for job seekers to start a real estate career. The industry’s high barriers to entry create multiple challenges for anyone trying to get their foot in the door, from the amount of time required to obtain a license to the costly overhead expenses in the early career stages.
AptAmigo solves these problems by creating apartment locator jobs (think real estate agent, but for apartments only) that require no previous experience. Thus, while some of our new locators arrive with loads of previous real estate experience, others show up with none at all. No matter what your level of sales experience may be, you can build a rewarding real estate career without going bankrupt first.

What Is an Apartment Locator?
Similar to how a traditional real estate agent helps people find a home to buy, an apartment locator helps clients find an apartment, or sometimes a condo, to rent. An apartment locator works with clients from the beginning to the end of the apartment hunt process to match them with the right place.
More specifically, a locator sees clients through the sales pipeline. When a client agrees to use our service, the locator gathers as much information as possible from them about their needs and preferences for their desired apartment. From favorite neighborhoods and must-have amenities, to coworking space and square footage, clients can provide as much information about their future home as they want. Once the locator receives all the necessary information, they begin searching, assembling a list of apartments that fit the client’s demands. After they present the initial list to a client for feedback, the locator finalizes it and sends it off into the scheduling stage. Locators will sometimes stay with the client for all of their tours, and they continue to advise them all the way through the lease signing process.
