No one does distilleries quite like Dripping Springs; some of our favorite spots to try unique spirits can be found throughout this charming Hill Country town just southwest of Austin. Treaty Oak is one of our favorites because, with its spacious outdoor venue and restaurant, you’ll feel like you traveled hundreds of miles outside of the city, while really only escaping about a 20-minute drive away.
Treaty Oak distills their own whiskey and gin and uses the fruits of their labor to create delicious craft cocktails. They own several buildings throughout the property: a tasting room, Alice’s Restaurant, and a mercantile, as well as a spacious outdoor area with a stage for live music. For the perfect Friday or Saturday night, head out to Treaty Oak for some live music and take in the beautiful Texas Hill Country under the gorgeous live oak trees.
