Ball & Chain

When Ball & Chain burst onto the Calle Ocho (or 8th Street) scene more than a decade ago, it was the place the neighborhood didn’t know it was missing. The location had sat vacant since the 90s, but before that it built up a storied history as a bar and live music venue, once hosting greats like Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole, and Chet Baker. Today, Ball & Chain channels the flair of Little Havana, serving Cuban food all day before transforming into a lively spot to dance to DJs, live music, and themed parties by night.
